  • Programmed in COBOL for the Wisconsin Title XIX Medicaid Management Information System. This included development, maintenance, and support in a batch environment. Many projects involved Y2K changes.
  • Mentored new team members in an effort to transfer knowledge and help new members adapt to work environment.
  • Graduate of rigorous ten-week training program held in Detroit, Michigan. Concepts taught during training consisted of COBOL II, JCL and TSO, Structure Charts and Pseudo Code, Database and SQL Concepts and Methods and Project Lifecycle.

  • Liaison between customers and programmers for the Wisconsin Title XIX Medicaid Management Information System.
  • Performed Quality Assurance - Developed appropriate test plans and test cases to verify technical coding changes to Medicaid System. Updated/created documentation to reflect coding changes after implementation.

  • Gathered requirements and designed new Recipient Explanation of Medical Benefits (REOMB) form sent out to Medicaid recipients each month detailing their Medicaid services/benefits for that month.
